The terms on which you may use this website, and what our statements on it do and do not mean.
Version 2.0. In effect from 3 October 2026. Applies to verticalstack.io and go-verticalstack.com.
These terms apply to verticalstack.io, and to go-verticalstack.com which leads to it, operated by VerticalStack Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17102550, registered office 71 to 75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ.
By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
Read this part even if you read nothing else
Nothing on this website is an offer of securities, an invitation to invest, or a financial promotion. Nothing on this website is an offer capable of acceptance, and no statement about the way we structure transactions binds us in any particular case.
VerticalStack Ltd is not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority. An application for authorisation as a payment institution is in progress. Until that authorisation is granted we do not carry on any regulated activity.
Information on this site is general and is not legal, financial, tax or investment advice. If you are considering selling your business, take your own advice from your own advisers. We will always encourage you to do so.
Anything you send us through this site is treated as strictly confidential. That is a commitment, and this is what it means in practice.
This commitment is separate from, and additional to, our obligations under data protection law, which are set out in our Privacy Policy. Our Code of Ethics, published on this site, sets out how we behave during and after a transaction, and we hold ourselves to it.
You may read, print and share the pages for your own business purposes. You may not copy the site or any substantial part of it for commercial use, scrape or harvest anything from it by automated means, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it, or use it in any way that damages it or interferes with anyone else’s use.
All content on the site, including text, images, logos, layout and the VerticalStack name, belongs to us or to our licensors. Nothing on the site gives you a licence to use any of it beyond what these terms allow.
We take care over what we publish, but this site describes an evolving business and some of what it says looks forward rather than back. Figures, timelines and descriptions of what we intend to do may change without notice. Statements about the businesses we have acquired or intend to acquire are made as at the date of publication.
We do not promise the site will always be available or free from error. We may change, suspend or withdraw all or any part of it at any time.
Where we link to someone else’s website, we do so because we think it may be useful. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for them, and a link is not an endorsement.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Subject to that, we exclude liability for any loss of profit, loss of business, loss of anticipated savings, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or from reliance on anything published on it. If you are a consumer rather than a business, this paragraph does not affect your statutory rights.
We may change these terms. The version in force is the one published on the site at the time you use it, and it carries a version number and date.
These terms, and any dispute arising out of them, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
